Styrofoam Collection Days

Master Gardeners are sponsoring a community Styrofoam recycling event on Saturday, June 12, from 9 - 3, and Sunday, June 13, 11 - 2.

The drop off will be held on Microtronics Way just off Camage Avenue in the Tuolumne Road industrial park. Take Tuolumne Road and follow the signs. Due to other activities in the area on Saturday, please come in from Standard Road.

Clean, #6, white packaging foam (used to pack computers, TVs, appliances, furniture, wine, medications) and rigid white foam insulation (typically used around building foundations) is accepted. In order to know if the material is polystyrene expanded foam, look for the #6 in the recyclable triangle label on the bottom of the material.

Please remove all tape, stickers, labels, paint or cardboard. Bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or used food containers not accepted.
