Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his tight-knit gang of street racers must battle the brother of who the guy they defeated in the last movie, played by Jason Statham. They have to rescue a software genius from the terrorist group. The film is dedicated to series regular Paul Walker, who died halfway through production.
“… a string of high-octane, physics-defying action scenes loosely connected by a narrative that occasionally makes rudimentary sense. Every time Walker’s character, Brian O’Connor, walks on screen, we’re reminded of [his death]. This lends a poignancy to the proceedings that none of the other The Fast and the Furious movies have had.” James Berardinelli -Reel Views
“‘Furious 7’ is creepy and long. Though done with the intention of preserving his work and honoring his memory, this reanimation of Walker does a disservice to the actor, turning him into a cyberzombie and forcing him into a bad performance.” –Mick LaSalle SF Gate
