Sand Tarts

| Amount | Measure | Ingredients |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | sticks of butter or margarine | |
| 1/4 | cup | powdered sugar |
| 1 | Tbsp | water |
| 2 | tsp | vanilla |
| 2 | cup | flour |
| 1 | cup | finely chopped pecans |
To prepare:
Beat together first 2 ingredients. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Roll in ball about the size of a walnut. Place on greased cookie sheet. Press down lightly with bottom of glass. Bake 20 minutes at 300. Roll in powdered sugar while hot and again when cool.
