Update at 9 p.m.: CAL Fire report a grass fire that ignited along Apple Colony Road by Connelly Road near Tuolumne City has been contained at an eighth of an acre in size. No structures were threatened.

Original post at 8:30 p.m.: Tuolumne City, CA — Firefighters are headed to a report of a grass fire on Apple Colony Road near Tuolumne City.
CAL Fire reports the blaze is in the vicinity of Connelly Road near Bakers Ranch. There is no information regarding the fire’s size, the flame’s rate of spread or whether any structures are threatened. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the newsroom.
