Crews Responded To Two Calaveras Fires

Arnold, CA — There were a couple of fires in the region yesterday.

The North Fire ignited at around 3pm off Boards Crossing Road in the greater Arnold area near Little Beaver Creek. It burned 1.7 acres and the cause is under investigation.

Then last night, shortly before 8pm, fire destroyed an outbuilding and RV in the 3600 block of West Highway 12 in Valley Springs. There were no injuries and the cause is also still under investigation.
