September Weekend And Butte Fire Events

There are several events planned for this weekend and several are donating money to help Butte Fire evacuees.

The Angels Camp Certified Farmers Market will host its second to last event Friday September 25th at 5pm in Utica Park. The event, in downtown Angels Camp just off of Main Street, was cancelled last week due to the Butte Fire.

Tonight will be a special evening designed to help support those who have been affected by the Butte Fire. Candy Myers, Market Manager, was Thursday’s KVML 1450AM “Newsmaker of the Day” For more details are in the news story Angels Camp Farmers Market Includes Butte Fire Support.

An even bigger Butte Fire Fundraiser the Harvest Fest has been planned for Saturday evening at the Brice Station Winery in Murphys. All profits will benefit the Calaveras Community Disaster Relief Fund. Details on the relief fund where in the news story here.

Copperopolis Town Square is also hosting a Saturday evening event that is a fundraiser for the Butte Fire, its Concert Series with Busta Groove. Details are here. Earlier in the day the Lake Tullock Copper Cove Owners Association is holding Holiday Craft Fair/Flea Market to raise money for the Community Easter Egg Hunt. The News story “Groveland’s Time To Shine” is about the annual 49’er Festival this Saturday. The event has been held rain and shine despite hard times caused by a Government Sequester which closed Yosemite National Park and the Rim Fire (California’s 3rd largest wildfire in history).

Tuolumne County Women’s Network Presents “A Twilight Gala-An Affair To Remember”. Entertainment by Josh Pfeiffer at the Black Oak Casino this Saturday. Reservations are needed more details are here.
