Sonora, CA — Stanislaus National Forest Supervisor, Susan Skalski, has signed the Record of Decision (ROD) regarding salvage logging in the Rim Fire burned area.

Salvage logging operations cannot begin until after the Notice of Availability in the Federal Register is published, which is expected to be September 5. Click here for an earlier story today with comments from Skalski on the ROD.
