It is a busy weekend with lots to do and very warm weather.

At the High Country sports arena there will be a two day Roller Derby event.
Teams from all over California, as well as the local High Country Mountain Derby Girls, will be competing in hard hitting and fast skating roller derby! Details in this event listing.
The 2014 Tuolumne County Relay For Life is 24 hour fundraising event. This is the 17th Annual fight against Cancer, raise awareness, provide education and information walk-run. The Theme this year is “The Colors of Cancer. Peace. Love. Cure”. Everyone is welcome at the event, details here.
The Sierra Foothills Dance Club Sonora will be at the Sonora Opera hall for their Ballroom Showcase. This years Showcase once again features junior, youth and adult social and competition dancers from studios from the Bay through the Central Valley to Sacramento, as well of course as local dancers from Tuolumne County. Participants, in addition to preparing for the Ballroom Competition circuit, are performing newly choreographed routines, examples being Jive, Cha Cha, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Tango and Waltz.
