Update: Winter Storm Warning Will End This Morning

A strong, dangerous winter storm system will wrap up morning.

The Winter Storm Warning in effect for the Sierra Nevada above 3,500 feet, will expire at 10 AM this morning.

Additional snow accumulations above the 3,500 foot elevation, will range from three inches to a foot-and-a-half. The higher you go, the more the snow.

A Winter Storm Warning means there will be snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Travel is not recommended while the Warning is in effect. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
