Update: Fire Crews Extinguishing Mobile Home Fire

Update at 9:30am on 9/22/19: The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that no one was injured in the mobile home fire Saturday evening in the Mother Lode Mobile Estates on Tuolumne Road. The American Red Cross assisted to help the displaced occupants. A total of eight nearby mobile homes were evacuated until the flames died down last night and it was deemed safe to return. What ignited the fire is not immediately known.

Original story posted at 6:30pm on 9/21-19: Sonora, CA — Firefighters are working to fully extinguish a structure fire in the Mother Lode Mobile Estates.

The mobile home park is located in the 14000 block of Tuolumne Road. CAL Fire confirms that one of the structures is fully engulfed in flames and officials are working to extinguish it. Be prepared for activity in the area. It is unknown what ignited the fire.
