Coke Will Be Recognized By City Council For World Series Win

Sonora, CA — New York Yankees relief pitcher Phil Coke is scheduled to be at Monday evening’s Sonora City Council meeting to receive a special proclamation, according to City Administrator Greg Applegate.

Coke is a Tuolumne County native and will be congratulated for his team’s 2009 World Series championship.

Monday’s meeting will begin at 5pm at Sonora City Hall.
