Update at 9:48am: CAL Fire reports that the forward spread of the vegetation fire east of Oakdale, near Fogarty Road and Emory Road, has been stopped at 3-4 acres. Crews continue to mop up the incident.
Original story posted at 9:15am: Oakdale, CA — Resources from the CAL Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit are helping to extinguish a vegetation fire reported near Fogarty Road and Emory Road east of Oakdale.
The fire is estimated to be around 3-4 acres. Be prepared for activity in that area.
