Sonora, CA — As of Tuesday morning, CAL Fire reports 95 percent containment on the 1,300-acre Gaines Fire in Mariposa County.
The fire ignited during the one o’clock hour on Friday afternoon along Mount Gaines Road near Bear Valley Road. The cause is still under investigation.
