Yosemite, CA — Preeminent film maker Ken Burns will be in Yosemite today to preview a portion of his documentary entitled National Parks – America’s Best Idea.
According to Ranger Scott Gediman Burns has spent six years producing the 12 hour documentary that will air on public television this fall.
Burns visited and shot film at all 58 U.S. national parks. His crews made approximately 10 trips to Yosemite over the past couple of years shooting during all four seasons.
