Cedar Ridge Vehicle Fire

Cedar Ridge, CA — A vehicle started on fire Sunday afternoon on Hitching Post Road in the Cedar Ridge area.


CAL Fire reports that the 2002 Kia Sportage was in motion when the fire started. The incident was reported at 3:57pm, and the fire was contained to the vehicle. The cause of the fire was a mechanical malfunction. No one was injured. The fire caused $500 damage to the vehicle. A CAL Fire engine from Twain Harte and a Tuolumne County Fire engine from Cedar Ridge responded.
