Burglars Busted In Jamestown

Jamestown, CA — Two Central Valley suspected burglars were arrested in Jamestown.

A Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputy questioned 43-year-old Paul Smith and 34-year-old Carlos Perez (both of Ceres) why they were parked outside of Jamestown’s coin operated car wash at 3am this morning. Inside the vehicle were bolt cutters, wire cutters, a four foot pry bar, flashlight, and three sets of rubber gloves. Methamphetamine and marijuana were also discovered.

Smith and Perez were booked into Tuolumne County Jail. The carwash and nearby saw shop had been frequent targets of burglars.
