New Building Approved At Standard Center

Sonora, CA– The Tuolumne County Planning Commission unanimously approved a conditional use permit to allow construction of a new building at the Standard Center.

The new center next to the new Tractor Supply Store will be a 5,500 square building of which 3,000 square feet will be for a an Arco AM/PM mini-mart with 12 fueling stations. 2,500 square feet will be set aside for a fast food restaurant with a drive-thru.

California Gold Development President Scot Patterson is excited about the project and said, “I am very pleased with the vote tonight, unanimous and no opposition. AM/PM is a great brand and will bring lower priced gas to the area. The east side needs this development.”
