Angels Camp, CA– Lisa Mayo, Executive Director of the Calaveras Visitors Bureau has been appointed to the Advisory Council for the Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration Department at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Mayo, a Cal Poly alumnus, is looking forward to her three-year term on the Advisory Council and said, “I’m excited that I can offer my experience and knowledge to help shape the future for Cal Poly students who are going through the same program I went through when I attended school here. It’s truly an honor.”
The Advisory Council meets twice a year to review progress of the department and to suggest and recommend directions for future development.
