J-59 Fire Under Investigation

La Grange, CA — Officials are investigating a fire that burned around 30-40 acres along J-59 early this morning.

According to CAL Fire Battalion Chief Jeff Sanders, it originated from a vehicle that was reported stolen out of the Central Valley. The fire is contained, and J-59 is open. Firefighters are still on scene for mop-up operations. The fire was first reported during the three o’clock hour. No further information is immediately available.
