Estate Sale To Benefit Hospital Foundation

San Andreas, CA– An estate sale is coming up soon to benefit the Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation.

Laraine Gerber, wife of the late David Gerber, an Emmy, Golden Globe and Peabody Award winning producer, has gifted the contents of her Murphys home to the Foundation. She has also offered to match all proceeds from an upcoming estate sale scheduled in Angels Camp.

The sale will take place on Thanksgiving weekend, November 25th-27th at the former hospital Thrift Shop at the intersection of Highway 49 and Old Highway 4. Among the items for sale will be furniture, artwork, antique toys and electronics.

Foundation spokesperson Paul Mundy says Laraine Gerber’s gift is in support of the effort to build a Family Medical Center and Women’s Center in Angels Camp. He adds that the Gerber’s were long time supporters of the Foundation and were one of the first to donate to the campaign to bring digital mammography to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital.

David Gerber brought more than 50 films to television during a four-decade career.  His notable work includes the 1970’s TV series Police Story and Police Woman. Other executive producer credits include The Ghost & Mrs. Muir, Nanny and the Professor and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
