An Arnold man was arrested after being involved in a rollover accident on Highway 4.
The CHP reports that 50-year-old Kevin Paul Merrill was driving along Highway 4 near Utica Power House Road when his vehicle left the road and overturned. He was taken to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital for minor injuries. He was later found to be under the influence of prescribed medications.
The CHP says Witnesses traveling behind Merrill were trying to call 911 because the vehicle was drifting back and forth across the traffic lanes, but they could not reach officials because of inadequate cell phone coverage.
The accident was reported at 4:35pm on Friday.
