Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries

Jamestown, CA– A motorcycle accident near Jamestown this morning has left a Modesto man with major injuries.


The CHP reports that 45-year-old Samuel Cousins Jr. was riding his Harley Davidson on Peoria Flat Road, about 2 miles east of O’Byrnes Ferry Road, when a deer ran out in front of him.


Cousins was unable to avoid a collision and struck the deer with his motorcycle. That caused him to be ejected into the eastbound lane.


Cousins was flown to Doctors Hospital in Modesto with a broken arm and leg.
