Sonora, CA — A Sonora man suffered major injuries in a motorcycle accident Thursday night on Highway 108 near Twain Harte Drive.
The CHP says 34-year-old Jessika Smith of Sonora was turning her Subaru from Twain Harte Drive to Highway 108, and drove directly into the path of 23-year-old Jordan Reyes of Sonora, who was riding a 2012 Triumph motorcycle.
Reyes was taken to Memorial Medical Center to treat major injuries. Smith suffered minor injuries and declined medical care. The CHP has ruled out alcohol or drugs as a contributing cause to the collision. The accident happened at around 6:15pm.
