Greenley Project Near Completion

Sonora, CA — A majority of work on the comprehensive Greenley Road improvement project should be wrapped up within the next couple of weeks.

Gary Taylor of the newly formed Tuolumne County Community Resources Agency told the County Supervisors that road crews are doing the final paving this week. Then beginning next week, the road will be painted with stripes. Once completed, the traffic lights will be programmed (currently they are flashing red lights).

Motorists can expect delays over the next couple of weeks. Work is primarily taking place between the hours of 7am-5pm.
