Chinese Camp, CA– Firefighters are close to containing a vegetation fire on J-59 at Red Hills Road.
CAL Fire had initially called the fire contained at 100 acres but it has now spread to 138 acres.
The forward progress has stopped and it is estimated to be 50% contained. Multiple fire resources are battling this fire including air attack from Columbia.
