Mariposa, CA– Firefighters are responding to a fire in the community of Bear Valley.
CAL Fire says the vegetation fire on Highway 49 at Pendola Garden Road is a half acre in size with one structure involved.
Multiple resources are assisting with this fire including air attack from Columbia.

Update at 5 pm: The fire was contained at 1 acre and a mobile home was destroyed. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
