Angels Camp, CA– Firefighters are battling a vegetation fire on Highway 49 near the Carson Hill Mine.
CAL Fire says the grass fire is around 5-10 acres and crews are making good progress.
Air resources from Columbia have been released from the scene. The fire was first reported at around 3:15 pm.
