Denham Favors Water Legislation

Washington, DC – Congressman Jeff Denham is urging federal lawmakers to make it easier for water to flow to central valley farmers.

The issue is expected to be controversial. Democratic Congressman John Garamendi has released a statement this morning criticizing the legislation, saying the bill could “reignite water wars.”

Denham, a Republican, represents District 19, which includes Tuolumne County.
