Oakdale, CA– A 55 acre vegetation fire in Oakdale has been contained, according to Cal Fire. Fire crews will be mopping up the scene for the next few hours.
Cal Fire says the fire on Eastman Road and 26 Mile Road in Oakdale near the Woodward reservoir was caused by farm equipment failure.
The fire started just before 1 pm and was contained at 2:30 pm.
