Twain Harte Upset About Waste Collection

Twain Harte, CA — Many Twain Harte residents are not pleased with the way that Waste Management handled trash and recycling pickup during the November snowstorms.

The Twain Harte Homeowners Association will host a town hall meeting on February 2nd to address the topic. Scheduled to be on hand are District Three Supervisor Evan Royce, Waste Management representatives and county staff members. Some Twain Harte residents report that there was no trash pickup for two weeks, and there was no reduction in the monthly bill to make up for the lack of service. Waste Management offered a voucher for customers to transport trash to Industrial Way at no charge, but many felt it wasn’t a viable option.

The Town Hall meeting begins at 7pm, Wednesday, February 2nd at the American Legion Hall in Twain Harte (Community Center). It is open to the public.
