Two Passes Closed One Open

Arnold, CA – Downed power lines have forced Caltrans to shut down Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass. It is closed east of Arnold near Boards Crossing Road. Crews are working on the problem, but motorists may want to avoid the area.

Caltrans also reports Highway 120 Tioga Pass which had been shut down all morning because of snow is now open.

However, Highway 108 Sonora Pass has been closed since yesterday afternoon and is still temporarily closed at Kennedy Meadows due to snow. Caltrans is not giving any estimated time of when that roadway will re-open.
