Update: Vegetation Fire In Calaveras County Contained

Update at 1:30 p.m.: CAL Fire spokesperson Lindy Shoff reports it took firefighters about 10 minutes to contain the vegetation fire at half an acre. Crew will remain on scene for the next half hour mopping up and checking for hotspots, according to Shoff. What sparked the blaze is under investigation. Further details on the fire is below.

Original post at 1 p.m.: Burson, CA — Firefighters are heading to a reported vegetation fire in Calaveras County. CAL Fire relays the blaze is in the vicinity of  the Lake Camanche South Shore Mobile Park in the 11700 block of Wade Lane near Camanche Road in the Burson area. There is no information on the fire’s size, the flames rate of spread or whether any structures are threatened at this time. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the newsroom.
