Students Register For School

Some Calaveras Students have started school already and most Tuolumne students are heading back to school in two weeks.

Belleview, Big Oak Flat-Groveland Unified Schools, Columbia, Curtis Creek, Jamestown, Sonora Elementary, Sonora Union High, Soulsbyville, Summerville Elementary, Twain Harte-Long Barn Union and Mother Lode Christian will all start on August 22nd.

Summerville Union High will start a week earlier on the 15th.

Sierra Waldorf School starts August 29th for 1st to 8th grade and kindergarten will begin on August 30th.

Columbia Elementary and Mother Lode Christian have registration packets available today. Curtis Creek School will have their annual Back to School Registration next Wednesday, August 15. Belleview’s Back to School Info Night is the August 20 from 6:00 to 7:00pm.

Columbia Community College’s fall semister classes begin August 27, and end December 15.

In Calaveras County, school also starts on August 22nd for the Bret Harte Union High School District and Vallecito Union School District. Classes started last week on July 30th for the 12 Schools in Calaveras Unified School District.
