Crews are on scene of a vegetation fire near New Melones Reservoir.
The fire was spotted this morning, and CAL Fire believes it could be the result of an overnight lightning strike. The fire is reportedly in the area of Old Melones Road. It is approximately an acre in size. Expect to notice activity in the area. There are no early reports of any structures in danger.
