Local High Schools Competing In Softball Playoffs

Sonora, CA — Sonora High School was victorious yesterday in the first round of the CIF Sac Joaquin Section playoffs, and Calaveras High received a first round bye.

Both teams are in the Division IV bracket. The 9th seed Wildcats (9-7) defeated 8th seed Los Banos, by a final score of 3-1. The Wildcats will now travel to face top seed Ripon tomorrow at 4pm. The Wildcats are in the midst of a six game winning streak. Ticket information is here.

Calaveras High (19-3) is the 2nd seed, and will face 7th seed West Campus, tomorrow, at 4pm, at Calaveras High. West Campus blew out 10th seed Galt yesterday, 21-0.
