Hot Car Ignites Flames

Jamestown, CA — It happened Tuesday on the 9000 block of Rock River Drive.

Cal Fire says 17 acres of grass ignited causing $3400 dollars in damage.

Engines from Groveland, Standard, Copperopolis, Twain Harte and Green Springs all battled the blaze. They were able to contain the flames in about 3 hours.


No one was injured in the fire.
