Update at 3:40 p.m.: CAL Fire reports that a blaze in the 10930 block of Eaton Road near Stonecreek Drive in the East Oakdale area off Highway 108/120 has been contained at five acres. Crews will remain on scene for the next couple of hours mopping up. What sparked the fire has not yet been determined.
Original post at 3:20 pm.: East Oakdale, CA — Fire crews are heading to a vegetation fire in the East Oakdale area off Highway 108. CAL Fire reports the flames broke out in the 10930 block of Eaton Road near Stonecreek Drive. Details regarding the fire’s size, rate of spread or threats to structures are not immediately known.
