Sonora, CA — Don’t be surprised if you see smoke along Highway 49 on the northern edge of Sonora tomorrow.
The Sonora Fire Department will be hosting another training burn at a dilapidated building. The structure is located near the turnoff to Pesce Way.
Sonora Fire Chief Mike Barrows says agencies from around the county will be participating in the exercise. Most of the smoke will be visible around the noon hour on Saturday, when the building is scheduled to be burned to the ground.
