Structure Fire Contained

Arnold, CA – Cal Fire reports two structures and a half acre of grass and trees were burned in a blaze in Avery this afternoon that is now contained. The flames broke out at around 11:30 this morning on the 4500 block of Moran Road up by Avery off of Highway 4. There are reports one of the structures was a trailer. The fire was close to Avery Middle School but, Cal Fire Spokesperson Lisa Williams says the school was not threatened and no one was evacuated and no roads where closed.
