TGIF Sonora begins at 6:00pm today, June 28. The merchants and businesses of Historic Downtown Sonora will host a kick-off summer event for the whole family. The evening will include music, Coffill Park will offer table and chair seating and Courthouse Park will host TGIF KIDS events. At dusk there will be Dancing in the Street. The Odd Fellows Costume Dog Show begins at 11am at Railtown 1897 on Saturday. The fundraiser event proceeds will benefit Tuolumne County Foster Youth There will be demonstrations by the Sierra-Tuolumne Kennel Club, the Tuolumne County Sheriffʼs Department K-9 unit, a photo booth and train rides (dogs welcome).
