Sonora, CA — Officials are battling a vegetation fire reported near the intersection of Murphy Road and Lime Kiln Road.
The initial estimates place the size at about 5-8 acres. Crews are battling the fire from the air and ground. There are homes in the area but currently there are not any considered in direct danger. We will pass along more information as it becomes available. Click here to view a map of the area.
