Fire In Tuolumne County

Sonora, CA — Fire Fighters are on the scene of a vegetation fire. The Columbia Air Unit has also been called out. The flames broke out at Old Oak Ranch Road near Big Hill Road. There is no word on the size of the blaze or if any structures are threatened at this time. There are reports of smoke in the area.

Update 12:54pm: Cal Fire reports air units have been called off and the blaze has been contained. Less than a half acree of vegetation was burned. No structures were threatened.
