The Columbia planes are up.

Linden, CA — Cal Fire is battling a 10 to 15 acre vegetation fire on 9520 North Shelton Road in Linden in San Joaquin County. They are fighting the flames from the air and ground. Columbia’s helicopter, air attack and two tankers are in the skies and Cal Fire says another helicopter has been called to the scene. On the ground there are 3 engines, a fire crew, dozer and more are on the way.

Cal Fire says no structures are threatened. There is no word on rate of spread.

Update 1:25pm: Cal Fire says fire is contained. The fire grew to 303 acres. Cal Fire says they don’t what sparked the grass fire.
