Man Injured In Concrete Truck Accident

Sonora, CA — A man was flown to a hospital in Modesto following an accident on South Fork Road this morning.

CHP Officer Brad Schultz says a fully loaded concrete truck overturned at around 9:15am. “There was one person that was pinned inside the truck,” adds Schultz. “Right now we don’t know why the truck overturned.” The unidentified man was taken by air ambulance to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. The extent of his injuries is not immediately known.

A large tow truck has been working this morning to remove the vehicle from the area.

(Updated at 1:15pm: The CHP earlier said the accident was on Italian Bar Road, but has now updated the location to South Fork Road. South Fork Road will be closed until around 3pm while a tow truck removes the concrete truck)
