Vegetation Fire In Tuolumne County

Tuolumne County, CA — There is a possible vegetation fire in Tuolumne County between Jamestown and Groveland. CAL Fire is on the way to the scene on Jacksonville Road near Lulu Mine Road. There is no word on how big or what sparked the blaze.

Update 3p.m.: CAL Fire crews reports there is a vegetation fire and one engine is on the scene. They say another engine and a hand crew have been called to the scene. However, they do not have an estimated size or know what sparked the blaze at this time.


Update 3:30P.m.: CAL Fire reports crews are battling a quarter acre blaze. There is one engine and one hand crew at the scene.


Update 3:50: CAL Fire reports blaze is contained at less than a quarter acre.
