Updated: Sonora, CA — The CHP reports that there was a “major injury” accident this afternoon at the Junction Shopping Center in Sonora after a vehicle crashed into a person using an ATM machine.
It happened around the noon hour. The person injured was transported to a hospital in Modesto, according to spokesperson, Officer Faustino Pulido. We’ll pass along more information when it becomes available. What led to the crash is not immediately clear. Officials have not released the name of the woman.
