Update: House Fire In Tuolumne County Contained

Update at 9:40 a.m.: CAL Fire reports crews are making progress as they were able to get into the Crystal Falls Drive home and find no one inside and the fire has been contained. All incoming resources have been called off. Crystal Fall Drive is closed between Autumn Lane and Tehachapi Court, but CAL Fire reports is should reopen shortly. What sparked the fire is under investigation. Crews will remain on scene mopping up for the next several hours. Further details regarding the blaze is below.

Update at 9:10 a.m.: The CHP reports Crystal Falls Drive has been closed from Autumn Lane and Tehachapi Court while firefighters battle the flames.

Original post at 9 a.m.: Sonora, CA — Firefighters are battling  a structure fire in the Crystal Falls area of Tuolumne County.

The flames broke out in a home on the 21100 block of Crystal Falls drive, between American Feather Drive and Autumn Lane. The two-story house was fully engulfed in flames and a vehicle and power pole were also on fire when firefighters arrived on the scene, according to CAL Fire. There is no word as to whether anyone was home when the fire ignited or whether it has spread to vegetation. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the newsroom.
