Ferretti Road To Reopen Friday

Groveland, CA – A stretch of Ferretti Road that has been shut down for almost a year will reopen this Friday to traffic.

Tuolumne County Community Resources Agency officials relay that the “Ferretti Road Emergency Culvert Replacement Project” in the Groveland area is complete. The county awarded the project to Ford Construction Company, Inc. out of Lodi last year, as reported here. Heavy rains caused damage to a culvert as well as erosion of the fill dirt under the roadway due to storms that passed through in March of 2018. Ferretti Road was closed to traffic between Pine Mountain drive to Mueller Drive for just over ten months.

County roads officials report, “The project is substantially complete and Ferretti Road will be open to the public after 5:00 p.m. on Friday.” They ask travelers to be aware of all construction signs or traffic control personnel in the construction zone as they finish up some minor work in that area.
