Update: Fire At 49er RV Park In Columbia

Update at 11:05am: The American Red Cross is assisting to help one resident who was displaced by the travel trailer fire. Mop-up continues at the site. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Original story posted at 9:15am: Columbia, CA — Firefighters are at the 49er RV Park on Italian Bar Road in the Columbia area.

CAL Fire spokesperson Lindy Shoff reports a travel trailer was fully engulfed in flames when the first responders arrived on scene, but the flames were quickly knocked down. Aircraft was initially requested from Columbia but they were soon called off and released back to base. There are no reports of any injuries at this time. Mop-up will continue over the coming hours. It is not immediately clear what ignited the fire.
