Early Morning Break-in At A Sonora Gas Station

Sonora, CA — A local convenience store employee arrived at work this morning to discover a shattered front door.

Sonora Police are investigating the overnight break-in at the Gold Country Gas Station located at 331 South Washington Street near Gold Street in Sonora. Although staff is still checking to see what has been taken, they confirm to Clarke Broadcasting that the thieves stole a bunch of lottery tickets. Anyone who may have been in the area in the early morning hours and may have witnesses anything suspicious at the gas station or may have information on the theft is asked to call the the Sonora Police Department at 209-532-8141.
